RILVAN Group is a leading provider of moving, immigration, relocation, and logistics services, dedicated to facilitating seamless transitions for individuals, businesses, and government agencies. Privately owner and with over 30 years of experience, we have earned a reputation for reliability, efficiency, and professionalism across Eastern Europe and beyond.

In 1992, not long after the Romanian Revolution and the fall of communism, I founded RILVAN with one simple mission: to help people move forward — literally and figuratively. It was a time of uncertainty, limited resources, and a country just beginning to open up to the world. But I believed that with hard work, vision, and by partnering with the best globally, we could build something meaningful. That belief became the foundation of what is now RILVAN Group.
We started with a single division: Moving. Back then, every successful international move was a challenge overcome — but one that brought immense satisfaction. As we grew, I realized that to serve our clients better and ensure full control over the process, we needed to expand. So, in 1998, we launched our Logistics division, specializing in customs brokerage and freight forwarding. This was a natural evolution — internalizing the core services that supported our moving operations while opening the door to the world of commercial mobility. Not long after, we saw another need emerging in the mobility landscape: immigration services. We built a dedicated team to handle everything from work and residence permits to legal compliance for expatriates. Alongside this, we developed a strong Destination Services team — helping families find homes, schools, set up bank accounts, and settle into life in Romania. We became not just movers, but partners in relocation.
By staying committed to quality and developing each service with care, we became Romania’s most complete mobility provider.
In 2010, we expanded beyond Romania, opening an office in Chișinău, Moldova, to bring the same level of service to our neighboring country. In 2012, our dedication to excellence was recognized internationally — we earned FAIM PLUSaccreditation for our moving division, the EURA Quality Seal for relocation, and AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification for our logistics operations.
Our journey didn’t stop there.
In 2014, we opened a new office in Ljubljana, Slovenia, expanding our reach across the Balkans and Central Europe. And in 2018, we launched our Furniture Rental service — providing flexible, fully furnished solutions for corporate housing, relocations, and temporary assignments.
